A Crooked Sixpence is my Mam's (Karen) design label for her absolutely gorgeous hand knitted goods. Her main range includes cushion covers, hot water bottle sweaters, gloves and scarves. All of her pieces are inspired by traditional Aran patterns and she hand knits them using high quality yarns including a beautiful 100% Scottish wool that is produced by traditional methods in a historic Scottish mill.
One of the perks of being her daughter is that I already have several of her pieces myself... :) I can tell you that her work is absolutely beautiful. She has been knitting for as long as I can remember (in fact as long as she can remember too!) and has honed her skills to perfection.
