Happy Monday everyone! How are you all, I hope you had a great weekend?

Mine has mostly been work filled, but in a good way. My piriformis (right-royal-pain-in-the-butt) syndrome has been playing up so I haven't been able to head into town to catch the start of the festival madness yet. So instead I've generally been pottering around my studio tinkering with things and photographing things. I'll show you some 'things' soon!

I'm really loving today's mauve and mint collection from 'making everyday beautiful', these colours seem to be so prevalent over there right now. Or maybe that's just my eye tuning into them? There are certainly a lot of green tones especially, everything from the palest eau de nil to intense grassy greens and deep forest tones. Definitely the colour of summer as we're all outdoors enjoying nature to the fullest and letting it influence our creativity.

Oh yes! Last week I whipped up a wee blog button for 'making everyday beautiful'. Well I say 'whipped up'... More like googling a lot of html code and whatnot, trialling and editing so many times, wondering why I kept getting an empty box where the grab code should be then a wonderful hey presto moment with html escape characters! I know, it sounds like I half know what I'm talking about, doesn't it!?

Anyhow, If you love our wee Flickr group I'd be absolutely thrilled if you wanted to add this badge to your own blogs too! Just copy and paste the above code into a html gadget / widget and save it on your blog layout where you would like it to appear, I only have one size available (150px square) so take that into account when you are choosing where to place it. Then voila! You'll have a direct link to the group page on Flickr, yay! Drop me a wee note in the comments if you do or if you have any problems and I'll see if I can help.

Emma, x
