An Etsy treasury in honour of the Queen and her Daimond Jubilee... sixty years on the throne and still going strong!
Did anyone see Prince Charles' tv tribute to his 'Ma ma' on Friday? Such a lovely insight with all their old home movies and so poingnant in places. There was a particulary moving piece of footage at the end when the Queen was flying back to the UK after her father's death in 1952. Whether you're a royalist or not you can't fail to connect with that moment on a emotional and very human level. Well worth a watch if you get the chance.

A great collection Emma - and don't they make a pretty picture together.
ReplyDeleteI agree about Charles's film. I enjoyed it very much. We tend to forget she was so young, far from home and had just lost her beloved father when she became Queen.
Thanks very much Emma for featuring my garlands in this list of favourites. You've made my day!
