local talent : the Marshmallow Lady at The Market

Okay, so I don't mind confessing that my first port of call at Saturday's Market was to see The Marshmallow Lady, aka Burgh Bakes... oh yes, Nicole Roberts is to gourmet marshmallow as Willy Wonka is to all things chocolate!

She is wonderfully lovely and her marshmallows are pure fluffy clouds of sweet deliciousness which are always ready for the tasting...

Of course I would hone in on the chocolaty flavours first (so delicious!) but did my best to keep in mind that I was shopping for a wee birthday present for my Man. So after a wee sampling I picked out the Innis & Gunn* flavour accompanied by Nicole's newest flavour, Raspberry Ripple...
