Isn't this an absolutely perfect colour combination!? I love these murky turquoise shades next to those lovely rich tan browns. But what I really think makes it is the touches of aubergine, indigo, dirty pink and soft beige. There's a real flavour of 'mid century modern' about this wee set of colours, which definitely gets a thumbs up from me... !

Now to fill the rest of my afternoon I'm off to put a hearty casserole (or is it stew?) in the oven and mix up a batch of Yorkshire pudding batter. My man is feeling a wee bit under the weather with a stinky cold and is need of some tlc. Some good food should help him feel a wee bit better. Then I need to tidy up my wee studio and photograph a few new things ready for the shop next week.

Until then I do hope you all have a wonderful weekend, see you next week!

  3. Gorgeous colours - reminds me of the 70's! I think we had curtains and sofa in these colours when I was growing up and I remember having an Icelandic jumper knitted with these colours!! Hope you all keep warm and have a great weekend.
