As you know I'm a huge fan of red so today I'm particularly fond of this (yet another) hot summery palette. I love how bold and energetic the reds look set against these bleached out sage and lime green shades. I'm also loving the vintage / granny chic elements in the pictures. The vintage fabric prints, white lace and those stunning deep red peony roses!

Now I must admit that I've had quite the lazy week, I seem to have been stuck in weekend mode and have barely been indoors, not to mention the continuing lack of computer time! It's just way too nice at the moment, as we are having one of the warmest (and driest!) British summers for a long, long time! I just want to soak up every drop of warmth and sunshine! But all this fabulous weather is no good for my poor neglected shop shelves! So I'm thinking I may have to chain myself to my desk for a few days to work on all those fiddly wee jobs and have some ladies ready for a wee photo shoot next week.

Until then, I'm wishing you all lots of sunshine!
Emma, x

  1. I love that orangey red... I've been calling it pomegrante.
That vintage red & white floral is to die for.
Don't beat yourself up about the lazy low energy times, maybe you are just taking stock for your next creative surge.

Wish I had the energy to repaint my living room for the season! But its lucky I don't it would drive dh crazy. Every 5 or 10 years is too often for him.
My front hall is a similar green with some red and gray. I love it.
