...i had expected to be tapping away on my keyboard much sooner than this, but a wee dose of the lurgy (i know, it's getting about a bit!) and a foggy brain has left me a bit stumped for words...

florence nightingale...

...hello :)

...just a wee note to let you know i'm still here, it's just that i haven't had much time or energy for blogging over these last couple of weeks. i have been a wee bit busy taking care of my man who has been very poorly indeed - yep, even worse than man-flu ;)
...anyway, he is on the mend now and i have a bit more time for myself again. i'm really sorry if you've been waiting on a wee note from me but don't worry, i'll be in touch soon!

...hopefully normal blogging will resume next week, till then i hope you all have a fabulous weekend :)

...cosy...

...because it's cold, wet and windy here!

...okay, i know i'm supposed to be showing you my recent purchases but rather than photographing them i've been busy with lots of other stuff,

a) crocheting, so much crocheting,
b) re-arranging my studio.
c) picking up more units for my studio,
d) painting said units white (taking forever to dry in this miserable weather!)
e) a bit of knitting, frogging and then more knitting,
f) drinking lots of peppermint tea,
g) washing down lots of chocolate with said tea,
h) feeding my flickr mosaic addiction,
i) oh, and browsing around etsy when a treasury slot just happened to open up... honest ;)

...anyhoo, there will be lots of pics to follow, eventually... once i get my bum into gear that is!
